Choosing a machine
A mortar sprayer (PC-16, PC-18, DP-220) pumps and sprays mortar onto the wall, replacing hand throwing. An automatic plastering machine (DM Leading, DM Leading PRO) runs on a vertical rail to level the mortar already on the wall, replacing hand screeding. The two usually work as a pair: spray first, level second.
It depends on the work type, volume and site power. For example: medium-volume cement plastering, start with one mortar sprayer; apartments with long repetitive walls, the spray and level set; gypsum, the D70 or DM-MIX; putty and paint, the D976 or D836. Use the 1-minute solution finder or call us for advice.
According to the manufacturer: the DM Leading 3.2 m runs on 220 V; the DM Leading PRO runs on two 48 V batteries or mains; the DP-220, D70 and D976 run on 220 V or 380 V; the D976 and D836 have fuel-powered versions. The PC-16, PC-18, D60 and DM-MIX need 380 V; to use them you need an adequately sized three-phase generator. Our technicians will advise per machine.
It can be, with the right machine. Houses with many small rooms, doors and corners limit what a leveling machine can do. For townhouses, a mortar sprayer (PC-16 or DP-220) or the D976 putty sprayer is usually more sensible. DM levelers perform best on long continuous walls in apartments, social housing and factories.
DERUTU (德睿途) is a Chinese manufacturer specializing in wall-treatment machinery. According to the company, it has operated since 2002, holds nearly 100 national patents and was featured on CCTV-10. The best way to judge is still to see a machine running.
Compare six criteria: maximum plastering height, plastering width per pass, positioning method (are guide rails needed?), motor and control system, power supply, warranty and parts. For example, the DM Leading PRO: 4.2 m height, 110 cm width, microprocessor vertical alignment without guide rails, 750 W servo with Siemens PLC, 48 V battery power (manufacturer data). The best comparison is two machines working on the same wall.
Operation
The PC-16, PC-18 and DP-220 accept premixed and site-mixed mortar with a maximum aggregate size under 6 mm (manufacturer data). Sand must be screened to remove large particles, debris and impurities to avoid hose blockages. We recommend a trial with the exact sand and mix you use before rollout.
Yes. The machine handles the heavy, repetitive work; people still prepare the substrate, feed material, operate and finish corners, openings and wall bases. Skilled plasterers move into operating and finishing roles, where their skill is worth the most. Each machine needs a crew of 2 according to the manufacturer.
According to the manufacturer, the PC-16, PC-18, D60, D70 and DM-MIX sprayers take about 30 minutes to learn the controls. To run steadily, troubleshoot and maintain correctly, the crew needs hands-on guidance on site; we train until your crew can run it on its own.
DM machines have an electromagnetic brake, and all machines come with stop controls and safety instructions; putty sprayers work at high pressure, so pressure-release procedures and protective gear are essential. We provide safety training at handover. Scaffolding and suspended platforms used alongside must be inspected under current regulations; for each machine type, we advise on procedures according to guidance from the competent authorities.
Quality and output
That is the manufacturer's figure, measured on long continuous walls with an experienced crew. Real output depends on layout (doors, columns, corners), materials, how feeding is organized and crew skill. For comparison, the reference norm for a plasterer is about 15–20 m² per day. We measure real output with you during a trial and use that figure to calculate payback.
Pressure spraying presses mortar firmly into the substrate, and the manufacturer reports 2.5 times the bond strength of manual work. Even so, hollow spots and cracks also depend on the mortar mix, dampening and roughening the substrate, coat thickness and curing. We recommend a sample floor or unit, tap-testing and acceptance before full-scale work.
Spray thickness is 0.5–3 cm (manufacturer data), suitable for typical plaster thicknesses. Each substrate needs its own preparation: concrete must be roughened, highly absorbent brick must be dampened. As there is no verified data for every wall type in Vietnam yet, we do a sample on your exact wall type first.
Buying and warranty
The landed price in Vietnam depends on configuration, exchange rate, taxes, freight and training package, so we quote each request rather than post a figure that could mislead. Quotes are itemized and free.
Yes. Bringing the materials you currently use for the test is best.
Under the manufacturer's policy: 1-year warranty on all equipment, free remote technical support and operating guidance, on-site support (free for items under warranty). Accessories and consumables are not covered. Full terms are on the warranty card.
The manufacturer commits to supplying spare parts for 6 years. The list of recommended wear parts for each machine, with delivery times, is included in the quote so you can plan ahead.
Each machine comes with an e-invoice, warranty card, Vietnamese operating manual and Vietnamese secondary label as required. Certificates of origin (C/O) and quality (CQ) are provided per shipment when you need them for project files.
Machines in stock are delivered by appointment. Machines ordered for import need time for production, shipping and customs clearance; the estimated lead time is stated in the quote.
Payment methods and schedule are set out in the contract. If you need installments or lease-to-own, tell us when you request a quote and we will advise on the options available.
Let us know your needs when you contact us. Renting or a trial contract is a good way to verify results on your own project before investing.
